Brief Report of Last EVN Session

The entire pass (go003a) was lost because of a JPL
schedule problem


Logistics Problems Encountered Since Last TOG Meeting

Technical Problems Encountered Since Last TOG Meeting
-----------------------------------------------------
The only technical problem encounted during this time
has been a noise power supply that was causing 1PPS sync
errors. The power supply was replaced with a spare one.


Changes/Upgrades Made to Hardware/Software
------------------------------------------

As part of the effort to improve the robustness and
flexibility of HPIB-based instrumentation, Hewlett Packard
HP E2050 LAN/HP-IB Gateways are being installed at DSS-63.
One of the benefits of introducing the gateways is that
they enable the removal of the HPIB extenders which have
been used to bring the RAC HPIB bus up to the antenna cones.
The gateways appear as network objects and their configuration
status can be examined via telnet, at MDSCC from RAC60.
